The Man on the Road

Today we gather with joyful hearts to celebrate the incredible gift of motherhood. Whether biological, adoptive, spiritual, or maternal in influence, we honor the women whose love, strength, and faith have shaped our lives in ways words can barely express.

As we worship together, we anchor our celebration in the timeless truth of Proverbs 31:30 (KJV):

“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.”

This scripture reminds us that the true beauty of a mother is not found in outward appearance or fleeting accomplishments, but in her reverence for God, her steadfast love, and her quiet strength that flows from Him. Today, we praise the women who pray, who persevere, who nurture, who lead, and who reflect God’s heart in all they do.
