Help from The Holy Spirit

Today we gather with grateful hearts as we honor the true purpose of Memorial Day — a time to remember the brave men and women who laid down their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice is a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom, and we pause to reflect, to give thanks, and to lift their families in prayer.

As we worship, we also turn our hearts toward the One who calls us to live lives marked by love. Scripture reminds us:

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.”

1 John 4:7 (KJV)

May this spirit of love guide us today — love for God, love for one another, and love expressed through gratitude for those who gave all.
