What does “speaking life” over someone mean?
Our words hold incredible power. Just as God spoke the world into existence, we can have an impact by what we say.
Proverbs 18:21
“Death & life are in the power of the tongue.”
Our words can either bring life & blessings or they can bring harm.
When we speak life over others, we bless them. But when we speak negatively, we risk planting seeds of destruction even if the person doesn’t hear our words. Many adults carry wounds from harmful things spoken over them.
Don’t let the ugly in others destroy the beauty in you!
James 3:9-10
“With the tongue, we bless our God & Father & with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God….My brethren, these things ought not to be so.”
So, speak blessings over your children & grandchildren. Prophecy, speak life & you will see the fruit of your words in their lives.
Psalms 5:3
“In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You & wait expectantly.
I declare: that any curse that has ever been spoken over you; any negative evil word that has ever come against you is Broken Right Now!!! In Jesus Name.
I declare: that you are blessed in the city, you are blessed in the country, you are blessed when you go in & blessed when you come out. You are blessed!!!
