We will celebrate America's 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence next year on July 4th. But America is a very young nation; modern-day Israel is even younger. Israel just celebrated her 77th anniversary on May 1st of this year.
This miracle nation of Israel was created by God to bless the world- including America! And America has been a great blessing to Israel as well.
The survival of Israel & the Jewish people is guaranteed by God in Jeremiah 31:35-36: "Thus says the Lord, who gives the sun for a light by day & the ordinance of the moon & of the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea so that the waters roar, the LORD OF HOSTS is His Name: If those ordinances depart from before Me, says the Lord, then the seed of Israel also will cease from being a nation before Me Forever."
God also promises Israel & the Jewish people will never lose their land!
My favorite promise in God's Word is: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
May they prosper (have heart peace) who love you!" (Psalms 122:6.)
Those who truly love God, also love the Jewish people & Israel.
