Stop Satan at the Door
⚔️Good Morning Saints of God:
I want to ask you a question this morning, If Satan can’t destroy the church from the outside, how does he get in?
The answer is simple— he comes in through people who allow pride, division, unforgiveness, compromise, & false teaching to take root.
Satan doesn’t usually kick the front doors open; he slips in through hearts that are no longer fully surrendered to Christ.
The Bible warns us to be alert because the enemy is always looking for an opportunity.
1 Peter 5:8 says, ”Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.”
Notice he is seeking someone willing to let their guard down.
One of Satan's greatest weapons in the church is division.
He knows that if he can get believers arguing, gossiping, & holding grudges or becoming offended, the church loses its focus on Christ.
Ephesians 4:27 tells us, Neither give place to the devil.”
Every time we choose bitterness over forgiveness, pride over humility, or our will over God‘s will, we give the devil a foothold.
Jesus also warned the church in, Matthew 24:4,“Take heed that no man deceive you.”
Satan loves to replace God’s truth with half-truths & worldly thinking.
That’s why we must stay in God‘s Word & test everything against Scripture.
The greatest defense a church has isn’t a building, a denomination, or a program— it’s a body of believers who are humble, prayerful, united, & completely devoted to Jesus Christ.
Today, let’s ask God to search our hearts. If there’s anything in us that could give the enemy any entrance, let’s confess it, turn from it, and let the Holy Spirit fill that place instead.
Let’s stop Satan at the door. Every time the church doors are opened; he is not welcome!
Have a wonderful & Blessed day!
Love y’all,
Pastor Kim
