God Kept His Promises
⚔️SAINTS:
God is incredibly good. I love Him more each and every passing day!
Do you love the Christmas season as much as I do?
We are helping the world grow closer to the day of Jesus’ return— when all nations have heard the Good News.
Together we are doing so much for His Glory. It’s time to celebrate!
Two thousand years ago, age-old prophecies found their fulfillment when Jesus was born in a lowly manger in Bethlehem. God kept His promises made throughout the Old Testament, to send a Savior- Jesus, Immanuel.
God with us.
How an angel told the shepherds in Luke 2:11-12
“For there is born to you this day in the city of David, a Savior Who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.”
The significance of a baby wrapped in swaddling cloth would not have been lost on the shepherds of Jesus’ time. To ensure that Passover lambs were wrapped to keep from being injured, they were wrapped in cloth.
Jesus was that perfect Lamb, the perfect gift of God, given as a sacrifice so that we might have life. He gives us His only Son— and He urged us to share that gift with our family, friends & neighbors… & to the ends of the earth.
Titus 2:13
“We look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God & Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.”
Jesus walked among us & showed us how to live in love & grace. Then He made the ultimate sacrifice so that we might have salvation in Him. We eagerly anticipate the wonderful day when He will return in all His Glory. Hallelujah!
She was “Highly Favored” but was almost put away by the man she loved the most.
“Highly Favored” but she was rejected by every person in Bethlehem.
“Highly Favored” but she laid on the dirt floor of a barn & gave birth to a baby she carried nine months.
“Highly Favored” but in the middle of the night, had to leave all she knew & more and go to a strange town because God said so.
Favor never looks like favor at first.
Favor sometimes takes you through frustration, failure & fear. In the darkest night or deepest valley, there in that place where no one sees you & you feel like no one understands; whisper to yourself, “this is only the beginning, not the end.” This will turn out for my good & His Glory.
This is because… “I’m Favored.”
As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, may you savor the presence of Jesus—the greatest gift ever given.
“I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David, a Savior Who is Christ the Lord.”
Luke 2:10-11
Have a very Merry Christmas & a Happy Happy
New Year!!!
