Pick Up Your Nets

⚔️SAINTS:
I heard this story of some people that were at the lake when they noticed a crane standing perfectly still, just watching the water. The young lady said to the dad, “Look he is waiting to catch a fish.”
The dad said “No, he’s waiting on me to clean a fish & throw it to him. HE’S LAZY”
Ohhhh… that will preach

Have we as Christians become so comfortable that we have stopped fishing?
Jesus didn’t say, “Follow me & I’ll have someone else catch them for you.”
He said in Matthew 4:19, “Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men.”

Somewhere along the way, many of us have traded our fishing poles for lawn chairs. We sit and wait for the preacher to bring them in, the church to reach them or someone else to witness to them.
We wait for someone else to clean the fish & toss them our way.
But the Great Commission was given to all of us.

Have you ever heard someone say, ”I miss the old days of revival.”
The truth is, those days haven’t gone anywhere… WE HAVE.
God hasn’t changed. His power hasn’t changed. His Spirit hasn’t changed. His desire to save souls hasn’t changed.
The same God who moved in those old revivals is still moving today.

The question isn’t where revival went— The question is whether we’re still willing to go fishing.
Maybe revival isn’t waiting on God to move. Maybe God is waiting on His people to pick up their nets.
We love y’all & we can make a difference, one soul at a time.
“ FOLLOW ME AND I WILL MAKE YOU FISHERS OF MEN.” —
Matthew 4:19
